78, Windber, died July 30, 2017 at home, born April 11, 1939 in Johnstown, son of Stephen and Ethel (Shomo) Nagy. Preceded in death by parents, sister-in-law, Helen Bunk, many aunts and uncles and his pet dog Pebbles. Survived by his loving wife of 49 years, JoAnne J. (Horwath) Nagy, daughter, Rebecca Ann, who was his fishing and outdoor little girl, wife of David Napotnik, South Carolina, grandchildren, Greta and Jobe Napotnik. Also survived by aunt, Betty Nagy and cousins, Cindi Nagy and Lois Shileventz. Bob took great care of his wife JoAnne during difficult times and loved and lived for his grandchildren. Retired bulldozer operator for Bethlehem Steel in Johnstown with 29 years of service, past member of the United Steel Workers. Bob was a very avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Member of the Windber Sportsman Association, Trout Unlimited, United Bowhunters of Pennsylvania, Federation of Sportsmens Club, United Salmon and Steelhead Anglers, National Rifle Association, National Wild Turkey Federation and Pennsylvania Deer Association. He was a former member of the former St. Marys Roman Catholic Hungarian Church where he served on the Cemetery Committee. Member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Windber, where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Reverend Roderick N. Soha, Pastor. Internment, St. Marys Roman Catholic Cemetery, Windber. Friends received from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at William Kisiel Funeral Home, Windber, where vigil for the deceased will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations will be graciously accepted to help the family.
