Rose's Story

91, of Benshoff Hill, died June 18, 2017 at the Lutheran Home of Johnstown. Born September 23, 1925 in Ireland to the former Mary McKay and Daniel McKillop. Preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, George Bouch who was the love of her life; and brothers: William and Terry McKillop. She is survived by her children: Mary Katherine, wife of John Simmons of Johnstown; Debra, wife of James Mihalacki, of Johnstown; George B. Bouch, of Evansville, IN, married to the former Kimberly Stewart; Terri wife of John Campbell residing in Mooresville, NC; and Lynnette, married to Eddie Corona in Johnstown. She had ten grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Futter, New Zealand. Rose is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews throughout England and New Zealand. Rose was one of the last members of the WWII War Brides Club in Johnstown. She was employed by Kay Artley and was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Brownstown. There will be no visitation however, friends and family are invited to attend a funeral Mass 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael Catholic Church, the Very Rev. Mark Begley officiating. Committal will be held at Benshoff Hill Cemetery. The family is being served by the FRANCIS G.
