Rose M. Buck, 90, Carrolltown, passed away May 10, 2019 at Haida Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born October 10, 1928 in Carrolltown, the daughter of Benjamin J. and Philomena (Miller) Yeckley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond S. Buck, stepson David Buck, brothers Cletus, Clarence "Bob", Irvin, Gerald, Alvin, Fred, Floyd and Raymond, sisters Bertha, Janet Vavrinec, Pearl Weber and Edna Kline. She is survived by her children Karen (Benno) Bearer, Carrolltown and Jane (Sam, Jr.) LaMagna, Cherry Tree, grandchildren Ethan, Michaela and Vincent Bearer, Nina and Maria LaMagna, step grandson Daniel Buck, step great grandchild Grace Buck and numerous nieces and nephews. Rose was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown and Carrolltown Fireman's Club. She enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting, making hand braided rugs and spending time with her grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2 to 6 pm Sunday at Stevens Funeral Home, Inc., 146 North Main Street, Carrolltown, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. Additional visitation will be held from 9 am until the 10 am funeral Mass Monday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown by Rev. Jude W. Brady, OSB. Interment church cemetery. Memorials are requested to John Carroll Ambulance Service PO Box 368 Carrolltown, PA 15722. Love aunt Rosie very much, she had a wonderful life and was loved by all who knew her. I am thankful for all the memories we all have of her and her love for all of us. Rest in peace.
