95, Nicktown, passed away October 16, 2017, at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY. Born August 18, 1922, in Spangler, the daughter of Linux X. and Mary S. (Schettig) Kirsch. Preceded in death by parents; loving husband, John J. Bolger, who died March 31, 2006; son, James J. Bolger; siblings, Earl, Mary, Wilbur, Rita and Dale Kirsch. Ruth was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by daughter, Rita, wife of David Johnson, Webster, NY; son, Richard Bolger, East Rochester, NY; grandson, Joe Bolger; and daughter-in-law, Pam Bolger, Hilton, NY. Member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Nicktown, Altar & Rosary Society and Legion of Mary. Ruth worked as a clerk for the Dept. of Agriculture in Washington, D.C. for 14 years and later she worked in the bakery at Riverside Market in Spangler. Friends and family will be received from 2:00 4:00 & 6:00 -- 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Fr. Alfred Patterson, OSB, celebrant. Committal, St. Nicholas Cemetery.
