(Angelo), 95, Windber passed away peacefully December 29, 2017 at the Church of the Brethren Home, Windber. Born September 30, 1922 in Windber. Daughter of Fiore and Laura (Spadone) Angelucci. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 50 years, Louis J. Bafile; siblings, Phillip Angelo, Rose Emanuele, Mary Chmiel, Alexander Angelucci and James Angelo and half-brother, Nicola. Survived by loving children, Louis N. Bafile and wife, Audrey (Fodor); Phillip Bafile and wife, Bunny (Stawarz) and Anthony Bafile and wife, Gloria (DiLoreto), all of Windber and Teena, wife of the late Larry Petrus, Johnstown. Loving grandchildren, Louis A. Bafile and wife Cara; Jennifer (Bafile) wife of Brian Golias; Cassie (Sambor) wife of Eric Gill; Nathan Bafile and wife Amy; Jason Bafile, Blake Burkett, Ben Burkett, Anthony Bafile and wife Carolyn Confer; Kristin (Bafile) wife of Brian Bahorik; Donovan Petrus and Veronica Petrus. Loving great grandchildren, Emma, Wesley, Lauren, Andrew, Autumn, Anissa, Noah, Jacob, Josie and baby Bahorik to be born March 2018. Also survived by dear brother, Nick Angelo and wife, Louise; many loving nieces, nephews and friends and her precious pet, Mandy. In her younger years, Sundie, was a stockroom manager of McCrorys Five and Ten and later she worked at Lamonicas Bakery, both in Windber. Member of the Abruzzi Lodge ISDA, serving as secretary treasurer. Sundie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who had a great passion for cooking and baking in her kitchen for her family, she also enjoyed Sunday dinners with Teena, Donovan and Veronica. She loved following the Johnstown Button Box Club and dancing polkas with her sister-in-law, Louise Bafile and also going to the casinos with Phil and Bunny and Anthony and Gloria. She was proud of her home, Church and her Italian heritage. Member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber where she was a member of the Ladies Guild and the Sodality. Friends received from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday at the William Kisiel Funeral Home, Windber followed by the funeral service which will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber. Reverend Roderick N. Soha, Pastor. Entombment, St. Anthony of Padua Mausoleum, Windber. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to nurses and staff of the Fifth Station of the Church of the Brethren Home, Windber who were kind to her in her last days and to Anthony and Teena who were there to the end. Special thanks to Father Rod, Dr. Bencie and to Mary Molnar and to all who helped Sundie in her journey. We will always love you mom and hold you in our hearts forever. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Church of the Brethren Home, Resident Fund.
