age 78 of Belville, NC formerly of Johnstown, PA, passed away on Wednesday the seventeenth of January 2018 in New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington, NC.
Born in Altoona, PA on the third of July, 1939, he was a son of the late Paul Morgan, Sr. and Dorothy Blake Morgan. In addition to his parents Terry was preceded in death by a granddaughter Erica Boni and four siblings. Terry graduated from Altoona High School, and then studied Respiratory Therapy at Allegheny College in Pittsburgh, PA. He continued his studies at the University of Pittsburgh, then furthered his education at St. Francis College in Joliet, IL and earned 2 Masters Degrees. Terry then took various courses and classes at Penn State University..
He was retired from Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital in Johnstown, where he was Director of Respiratory Care, E.K.G., E.E.G., Cardiac Lab, Vascular Lab, Pulmonary Lab and Pulmonary Rehab.
Terry loved classic cars, gospel music, and was an avid genealogist most of his life. He was a kind and friendly man, that knew a little bit about everything. He loved his church, and loved his family more than anything.
Surviving are his loving wife of 58 years, Joanne Sylvia Reed Morgan; two sons, Richard Morgan and wife Chris of Stockton, CA, Greg Morgan and wife Michele of Hanover, PA; two daughters, Tracie Boni of Johnstown, PA, Sherrie Penrod and husband John of Belville, NC; a sister, Jennie Settlemyer and husband Pete of Altoona, PA; grandchildren Gregory, Katrina, Richie, Katie and Randy; 2 great granddaughters, DAuvion and Emma; many nieces and nephews, and his extended family in Buffalo, NY.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 PM at the Bridge to Life Church at 101 Nice Ave, Johnstown, PA 15905 on Saturday, January 27th, 2018.
