Smiley 77, Northern Cambria, passed away November 28, 2017, at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital, Johnstown. Born July 1, 1940, the son of Irvin J. and Vivian (Stoltz) Feighner. Preceded in death by parents, brother, Iral Feighner and sister, Vivian Galovich. Survived by loving wife of 50 years, Jean M. (Bodenschatz) Feighner; sons, Thomas, husband of Brenda (Lallemand), Hastings; Timothy Feighner, Northern Cambria; and Troy, husband of Jacque (Ritchey), Northern Cambria; and granddaughters, Katelyn and Sadie Maye Feighner. Tom worked many years as a heavy equipment operator for various mining companies. He kept himself busy in retirement, helping his sons, riding and working on his skid steer and going to flea markets. He was an excellent gardener, growing tomatoes was his summertime favorite activity. He was known for his sweet tooth, love of popcorn and for being happy just to talk with people. His true devotion though, was to his family and granddaughters, for whom Pappy served as taxi driver to all their activities and events which he loved attending. Member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Hastings. Friends will be received from 2:00 - 4:00 & 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, at St. Bernard Catholic Church. Fr. Thaddeus Rettger, OSB celebrant. Committal, St. Joes Cemetery.
