- 87, Portage, Died June 20, 2017 at home. Born Jan. 23, 1930 in Portage the son of Joseph and Angela "Nellie" (Wileck) Krull. Deceased family members include his parents; brothers, John; Stanley; Frank; Michael; Anthony; and Joseph Krull; and sister, Mary Krull. Survived by loving wife of 58 years, Sarah (Smith) Krull and these children, Karen, wife of Pete Melotti, Fla; Thomas J. Krull, Jr., Portage; Robert Krull and wife Robin (Leap), Portage; Sarah, wife of Peter Hilton, Monroeville; and Annette, wife of James Hollewa, Hastings. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Robert (Stacey) Krull; Rebecca (Drew) Bodenschatz; and Lillian Krull; and Andrew and Margaret Hilton; and great grandchildren, Trevor, Eliana, and Arielle Krull; and Grant and Wyatt Bodenschatz. Brother of Ann Pisarski, Portage; Rose Sokira, Ohio; Helen, wife of Andy Teno, Portage; and Edward (Joan) Krull, Altoona. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Served as Airman First Class in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Self employed carpenter for many years and retired as a union carpenter for Carpenters Local Union 1419 of Johnstown. Member of Post #430 American Legion. Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, wine making, and tinkering and puttering around. Friends received from 4 to 8 PM Friday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Saturday at the Holy Family Catholic Church Portage. Msgr.
