Vincent B. Monteleone


Vincent B. Monteleone, 85 passed away January 3, 2019 at his home in Arcadia, California. He was born on June 17, 1933 in Johnstown, PA, and graduated from Johnstown High School in 1951. He moved to Elyria, OH in 1953. After marrying Verna Raber in 1959, the couple moved to Southern California, to make a new life for themselves in a warmer climate. Vincent was preceded in death by his Father, Dominick Monteleone: Mother, Lucy (Gigliotti) Monteleone, Sisters Constance, and Mary Jane Ressler. He is survived by Verna, his wife of 59 years, and his siblings; Sisters, Catherine Hales Pszenitzki, Camille Moore, Rosaline Vitalie, Lucille Trott, Brother, Joseph Monteleone, a Brother-in-law, Alan Trott and many nieces and nephews. Vincent was a generous person and he loved his family dearly. He had an inquisitive mind, loved to learn, especially regarding scientific discoveries, the solar system, and the natural wonders of the Earth. Vince also liked to impart his knowledge of these subjects to others. He and his wife enjoyed traveling, both here and abroad. One of the achievements that he was most proud of, was that he had earned his Instrument Rated, Private Pilots License. Vincent Monteleone was a good man, and he will be sorely missed by his family and friends. A family memorial service and interment will take place at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Johnstown, PA at a later date.

Dear Verna
