Wayne E. Neff, 85, of Harrisburg, died Monday, February 5, 2018 at his residence. He was the husband of Faye Boltz Neff, to whom he was married 44 years this past October. Born in Smokeless, PA on March 17, 1932, he was the son of the late Elijah and Viola McFeaters Neff. Wayne was a member of the U.S. Air Force, serving in Korea and Vietnam, and retired after 21 years of service. He worked as a service writer for PennStar service center in Harrisburg. He was a history buff and lover of beekeeping, woodworking, making wind chimes, and spending time with his granddogs, Bubba and Mackensie. He was a member of the NRA, the American Legion Post 998 in Lawnton, PA, Air Force Museum Foundation, American Air Museum of Great Britain, Native American Museum and National Air Force Museum. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Scott A. Neff, husband of Kalah of Texas, daughters Cindy Sue Campbell, wife of James of Mesa, Arizona, Shelley Ann Neff, fiancée of J. Jeffrey Watson of Harrisburg, and one grandchild, Cody Lee Neff. He was preceded in death by brothers Warren and Willis Neff, and a sister Treva Ulrich. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 6PM at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main Street, Annville, PA 17003. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place the following day, February 9 at 9:30AM at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with military honors. Procession will be forming at Kreamer Funeral Home at 9AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Wayne's memory to Red Creek Wildlife Center, 300 Moonhill Drive, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972, or Steelton Borough Community Cats, 1 North Front Street, Steelton, PA 17113.
