Kemp 65, Clymer, passed away February 5, 2018, at Indiana Regional Medical Center. Born June 17, 1952, in Spangler, the son of Louis W. and Clare (Cymbor) Kowalski. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Bernard Hodie and David Kowalski. Survived by loving wife, Ruth Ann (Patterson) Kowalski; children; Stacy (Tom) Rematt, Patton; William (Jessica) Kowalski, Bakerton; Leo Kowalski (Julia Brown), Pittsburgh; Lucas Kowalski, Clymer; step-children, Marlin Myers (Krista Gagliano), Dover, FL and Francis Myers, Canton, GA. Grandchildren, Heather Grata, Kelsey Rematt, Wyatt Kowalski; step-grandchildren, Wallace, Helen, Nathaniel, Nicholas and Quinn Myers; and great-grandchildren, Ian and Olivia Burkhart. He will be greatly missed by his #1 4-legged son, Eddy. Retired from Indiana Hospital Environmental Services Dept., formerly worked as a coal miner with Barnes & Tucker and Tanoma Mines. Member of Bakerton Rod & Gun Club, Bakerton Athletic Club, and social member at St. Benedict VFW. Kemp enjoyed hunting, especially with his Bakerton Crew. He was well known for his sense of humor and making people laugh. He enjoyed sports, watching westerns and time with his family. Friends will be received from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, where funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday. Committal, Sacred Heart Cemetery. The Kowalski family wishes to thank IRMC 6th floor staff for their kind and compassionate care.
