Wargo, William Bill G. Sr., 79, Windber, died December 31, 2017, at Windber Hospice. Born March 10, 1938, Windber, son of the late John and Gladys (Statler) Wargo. Preceded in death by brothers, Elwood Snuffy and Glenn Wargo; grandson, Todd Garrety; and step-granddaughter Kristin Ingram. Survived by wife of 61 years, Shirley (Bifano); children, Cynthia, wife of Paul Cekada, Windber; Lori, Windber; John, married to Tonya (Kelley), Milton PA; William Jr., married to Jenn (Sager), Montgomery, AL; grandchildren, Trent, Brett, Grant, and Blake; great-grandson, Gage Garrety; brother, John Jack Wargo, married to Sherry (Turk). Bill served in the US Marine Corps, Force Troops, FMFLANT, Camp Lejeune, NC. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending summers camping on the Juniata River. Friends will be received from 3 p.m. until time of service at 5:30 p.m., Scalp Level Church of the Brethren, 270 Hoffman Ave., Windber, Pastor Ronald J. St. Clair, officiating.
