70, Johnstown, went home to be with the Lord August 7, 2017, at Windber Hospice. Born January 9, 1947, Johnstown, son of the late Andrew J. Intihar Sr. and Helen Louise (Furnari) Gaydos. Preceded in death by his parents; his brother-in-law, Richard Gillin. Survived by his children, Andrew Intihar, Johnstown; Jeffrey Intihar and wife, Rona (Kopsic), Johnstown; Cynthia Raco and her husband, Aaron, Johnstown; his grandchildren, Andrew Jr., Alexander, Madalyn, Mitchell, Jake, and Jayson; His four great grandchildren; his siblings, Andrew J. Intihar Jr. (Roseann), South Carolina; Donna Gillin, Johnstown; numerous nieces and a nephew; his special friend, Regina Miller and her children; and his dog, Nellie. Albert was a retired steelworker for Bethlehem Steel. He served in the Pennsylvania National Guard, he was an avid hunter and fisherman, he was very involved in the steelworkers union, he enjoyed his trips "down below" and his rides to the cottage with his dog, Nellie. Friends and family will be received on Friday, August 11, 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. 146 Chandler Ave. Johnstown, PA 15906. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Catholic Church, 536 Decker Ave, Johnstown, PA 15906, Father Bernard Karmanocky Officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. The family request no flowers to be sent for services.
