Attorney Thomas's Story
75, Barberton, OH, died April 15, 2017, at Akron General Medical Center. He was born July 14, 1941, in East Cleveland, OH, son of the late Harold and Vera (Phenicie) Frye. Survived by daughter, Karen (Christopher) Stoller, Akron, OH; grandchildren, Andrew, Lauren, and Caroline Stoller; his daughters mother, Marlene (Pelock) Lang; and cousins by the dozens. He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, Alcoholics Anonymous, Western Reserve Genealogical Society, and was past president of Cuyahoga Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. He was a retired officer in the US Army and received a purple heart and a bronze star for his service in the Vietnam War. Friends received from 11am until the time of service at noon Saturday, at Henderson Funeral Home-East Hills, 2503 Bedford St., with the Rev. Dr. Robert Wagner officiating. Interment, Richland Cemetery, where military rite will be conducted by Chas. Menoher Post 155 VFW Ritual Team.
