George's Story

"Pappy", 88, Richland Township, passed away August 26, 2017 at Windber Hospice. Born December 7, 1928 in Windber, son of the late Frederick and Delphia (Williams) Clark. Preceded in death by son, George Clark Jr. and infant son, Gary Clark; siblings, Eva, James, Robert, Terry, Clare, Edward, Richard, Pete, and Fred. Survived by loving wife, Nancy (Nitka) Clark, Richland Twp.; daughters, Debra Keeton, South Carolina; and Patricia married to Raymond Bramlett, Richland Twp.; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Joanne; brothers, Willard, Donald and Charles; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. George was a U.S. Army veteran serving during WWII and Korean War Era. He had a love and talent for woodworking and tinkering, he loved his family and was very personable. George loved his church family where he ushered and was an employee of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral mass celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 30th, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with Fr. Walter Moll. Committal will follow at Richland Cemetery with military service by VFW post 155. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Windber Hospice. www.moskalandkennedyfuneralhome.com.
