92, Northern Cambria, passed away August 11, 2017 at UPMC - Altoona Hospital, with family by her side. Born February 13, 1925 in Altoona, the daughter of John and Cecelia (Galant) Slowik. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bruno J. Moriconi, who died January 1, 1977; infant sister Kathryn, sister Connie Macaluso; and brother, Daniel Slowik. Survived by children, Patricia A., wife of Henry Edmiston, Northern Cambria; Carol L., wife of Martin Pizur, Grand Island, N.Y.; Bruce A., husband of Jill (Regester), and Brian F., husband of Cynthia (Baker), both of Northern Cambria; grandchildren, James Edmiston, Connie (Scott) Messina, Matthew (Adrienne) Edmiston, Martin (Erin) Pizur, Robert (Lisa) Pizur, Leanne (Tommy) Ortolano, Brock and Braden Moriconi, Nicholas and Allison Moriconi also 11 great-grandchildren. Also survived by sister, Veronica (Ralph) Meilnik and brother-in-law, Joseph Macaluso, both of Hollidaysburg. Member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Former owner/operator of Bruno & Jennies Rainbow Hotel, Barnesboro. Jennie loved her family, was an avid bingo player and enjoyed attending auctions. Friends and family will be received from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m., Sunday at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Monday at Prince of Peace Church, Northern Cambria. Fr. Donald Dusza, celebrant. Interment, Sts. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Cemetery, Altoona
