68., of Johnstown went home to be with our Lord on Monday, August 14, 2017. Born February 25, 1949 daughter of Jack and Mattie (Thompson) King. Preceded in death by her parents, husband James "Scooty" Holifield, Sister Janet (King) Christian and brother Jack King, Jr. Survived by her sons James Roebuck, Jr. and Donald Roebuck grandchildren Janaya, Jasmine and Damoni Roebuck and 4 great-grandchildren. Brothers and sisters Damu King, California, Queen Esther Baker, and Robert Blackshire, Sr.Baltimore, MD, Betty Jean McLaurine and Desiree Hickman, Chicago, IL , Victoria King, and Reverend Sylvia J King, Johnstown, PA also devoted Cousin Beverly Pridgen and best friends, Christine King, Vallerie Simms, and Karen Brandon. Pat was retired from Senior Life as an activities coordinator, she loved working with the elderly and spent most of her career as a Nursing assistant in geriatric nursing. Pat was a 1968 graduate of Johnstown High School. She was well known throughout the greater Johnstown area along with her friend and business partner Marsha McDowell as "The Hat Ladies" She modeled hats and told the story behind each hat. She was a member of the Johnstown Branch NAACP Executive board, WIN, Community Action Partnership of Cambria County, Johnstown Bottleworks Ethnic Arts Center. She served as volunteer coordinator for the Sylvia J King for City Council and was a partner in Private Stock Hair supplies and boutique. She was proud of her church family and served as "Church Mother", Deacon, choir member and greeter at Christ Centered Community Church. Pat considered herself a cancer survivor and encouraged other women on the importance of self breast exams. Family and friends will be recieved Friday, August 18th 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM (family hour 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM) at Christ Centered Community Church, 531 Somerset St., Kernville, and then again on Saturday 10:00AM until time of the Celebration of Life praise and worship service 12:00 Noon, the Rev.
