77, Patton, died June 16, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born October 22, 1939 in Chest Springs, son of the late Earl and Mabel (Conrad) Little. Preceded in death by brothers: Darrel J. and Ralph and sister Geraldine Martin. Survived by wife of 51 years, the former Sally Sheehan whom he married August 14, 1965 in Patton. Children: John (Michele Wilt) of Montpelier, VA, Teresa Duclos (Robert) of Patton, Daniel of North Reading MA, Patrick (Melissa Hale) of Montpelier, VA and Timothy (Jill Long) of R.D. Patton. 18 Grandchildren: Travis and Nicole Little, Austin and Caleb Duclos, Sam, Annie, Ernie, Charlie, Maggie, and Emma Little, Christopher, Paul and Katherine Little, Josh and Jenna Hoover, and Savannah, Ashton, and Haley Gulick. Brother of: Lucille Hoover (Leonard) of Chest Springs, Robert (Sally Kelly) of Sharpsburg, MD, and Carole Hite (Leroy) of R.D. Gallitzin, and numerous nieces and nephews. Paul served 3 years in the US Marine Corps during the Lebanon Conflict from 1957 until 1960. He worked for AT & T Long Lines for a number of years, 10 years for Potomac Electric Power, Washington, DC and retired from Homer City Coal Processing Plant in 2004. He enjoyed spending time with his family, square dancing and bowling with Sally, playing cards and hunting. Member of the UMWA for 27 years, Patton VFW where he served with the Honor Guard and doing other activities honoring Veterans, Promotor of Miraculous Medal, former member of St. Mary's now known as Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Patton and member of St. Augustine Catholic Church where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Tuesday. Committal, St. Augustine Cemetery. Friends will be received from 4 to 9 PM Monday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St., Ashville, Pa 16613 where a Rosary will be recited and Military Rites will be conducted by Patton VFW and American Legion. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions be made to the St. Augustine Building Fund or Queen of Peace Building Fund in Paul's memory. www.gibbonsfhashvillecoalport.com
