87, Portage, died at home surrounded by his family on July 24, 2017. Born June 16, 1930 in Thorpe, Wisconsin, the son of Joseph and Helen (Klein) Yetsko. Deceased family members include his parents, brothers, Walter, James, and Regis; sisters, Margaret Totaro; Mary Sybert, Rosetta Havrilla, and Deloras. Survived by brother, Jerome (Fran) Yetsko, loving wife of 67 years, Barbara (Barrett) Yetsko; children, Robert E. Yetsko, married to the former Margaret Johnson, Pittsburgh, William Yetsko, married to the former Cynthia Berzinsky, Portage; and Miriam wife of James Cole, Fredericksburg, Va. Grandchildren include Brian (Laura), Neil (Briann), and Scott Yetsko (fiance Rebecca Bopp); Kelly (Andrew) Greer; Michael Yetsko and Russell Cole. Great grandchildren, Abigail, Evan, Riley, and Samantha Greer. The Yetsko farm was part of Bob and he was part of it. He spent his lifetime loving and caring for his animals and the land. He was a Lutheran Church council member, Grand Marshall of the Summerfest Parade and a volunteer fireman. Bob, a Korean War Veteran, was a coal miner for Bethlehem Steel and worked for Leman Machine. He loved sports, played football in high school, semi-pro football, and softball for community leagues. He served on the Portage Area school board, and held the sticks at the football games for 60 years. Friends received from 1-2 p.m., Saturday at The First Lutheran Church, Caldwell Ave., Portage where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday. Pastor Startzel, officiating.
