83, of New Cumberland, formerly of Manns Choice, died Friday, July 14, 2023 at Columbia Cottage Assisted Living, in Palmyra. She was born on July 11, 1940 in Johnstown a daughter of the late Albert Smith and Marie (Lydic) Rosen. On October 12, 1963 she married Michael Angelo Jr. who preceded her in death on June 29, 2017. She is survived by a daughter Lori Gibboney and husband David, of Gales Ferry, CT; two siblings: Francis "Jack" Smith, of Johnstown, and Emma Marie "Susie" Ruger and husband Arthur, of Homerville, GA; and special friends and caregivers, Matthew and Jennifer Foor, of New Cumberland. She was preceded in death by a son Michael Angelo Jr; and three brothers: Albert "Lindy, Cherry "Jerry", and Dean Smith.
Agnes was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. She loved animals especially Dachshunds, Rottweilers, and Horses. Agnes enjoyed reading James Patterson novels, meteorology, watching the stars, and photography. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 11 a.m., at Bedford County Memorial Park, with Pastor David Lambert officiating.
