Agnes V. Rabel Obituary

Rabel-Agnes Virginia, 94 Passed away peacefully June 22, 2017 at Laurelwood Care Center. Born Nov 5, 1922 in Central City. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years Stephen, sister Hilma Ducker, son-in-law Stephen Kodges. Survived by her children, Earlene "Anne" (Joseph) Molnar, Burlington N.C, Linda (Richard) Grassa, Huntingdon, Rebecca and her partner Norman "Buddy" Marr, Baltimore MD and Stephanie (James, Jr.) Ramsdorfer Johnstown. Also survived by her grandchildren, Christine (Andy) Johnson, Susie (George) Gruber, Patty (Harry) McKinnon, Stacy (Anson) Hoyt, Amber Kodges, Hetty Kodges, Amanda (Matthew) Devine, Justin (Alexis) Ramsdorfer and 13 great grandchildren. Agnes loved to go dancing with friends, especially to Rosie and the Jammers, was an excellent seamstress and cook and loved collecting cookbooks and trying new recipes. Although Alzheimer's took her memory she was able to keep her sense of humor and quick wit and put a smile on people's faces to the very end. The family would like to thank the caring people at Windber Hospice, especially Ginger.

As her husband Stephen donated his body to science Agnes was also a Humanity Gifts Registry Donor hoping that in passing they would be able to help further medical research. At her request there will be no viewing or public service. Arrangements in care of Musmanno Funeral Home, McKees Rocks, PA
