Brush, Barbara A., 77, Cresson, passed away unexpectedly December 23, 2023 at UPMC Altoona. Born November 18, 1946, Spangler, daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Kielbowick. Preceded in death by her husband, John J. Brush on May 4, 2003. Survived by her two sons, Brian Graboski, Nanty Glo; and Steven Graboski, Cresson. Barbara worked in healthcare as a nurses aide. She was a member of the Sankertown VFW Post 7377 Auxiliary. Barbara enjoyed dancing and rock music. She also liked spending her free time watching her favorite television shows, Law & Order and Murder She Wrote. Most importantly, she enjoyed being with her sons, who she loved very much. Barbara will be remembered by her kindness as she cared about everyone that she knew. At her request, there will be no viewing or service. Private burial at Cresson Cemetery. Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
