(DEFRIECE) PEGG - Barbara Ladine, 81, Davidsville, PA, passed away on March 13, 2025. Born Sept. 30, 1943, to the late Earl Edward and Arvilla Faye (Felix) Rager. Proceeded in death by late husband, Clifford DeFriece; son, Brian DeFriece; sister, Patricia Johnson; and great-grandson, Teryn. Survived by her loving husband, Harry "Fred" Pegg; daughter, Leanna Brkovich (Nick); stepchildren, Shawn Pegg and Audrey Gotte; grandchildren, Melissa Schwenk, Michael Schwenk, Bethany Buck, Ryan DeFriece, Kayleen DeFriece, and Paige Oldfather; stepgrandchildren, Alisha Ingersoll, Nicole Brkovich, Elizabeth Sisco, Finn Pegg, and Reed Pegg; many great-grandchildren; siblings, Arvilla Corell (Jim), Earl Edward Rager, Phyllis Priest (Dave), and Christine Reisinger; numerous nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Dolores Orris. Barbara retired from GNC as a manager after over 25 years of service, and volunteered at Windber Hospice for 15 years. She was always seen lending a helping hand to others. She had a beautiful laugh, enjoyed painting, and loved planting flowers. Barbara will be deeply missed by her family. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Hindman Funeral Homes, 1521 Frankstown Road, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will be a service held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Hindman Funeral Homes at 11 a.m. Barbara will be buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
