93, Hollidaysburg, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Hollidaysburg, PA. She was born in Patton, daughter of the late Basil and Mary (Kane) Weakland. Surviving are; two brothers: William Weakland of San Clemente, CA and Archbishop Rembert Weakland of Milwaukee, WI; two sisters: Marian D. Weber, of Duncansville and Leora (Gene) Forney in CA; niece, Paula Scaramozzino; as well as other nieces and nephews. She was a 1941 graduate of Patton High School, and a 1945 graduate of Altoona Hospital School of Nursing. She retired as a Case Manager from Equitable Life Assurance in Pittsburgh. Barbara enjoyed sports. She especially enjoyed watching the Steelers and Pirates, and she also enjoyed playing pinochle.

Per the request of the deceased there will be no viewing or services. Interment will be at St. Benedict Cemetery in Carrolltown.
