Littleton, Colorado - Betty resided in Johnstown for the majority of her life. In 1997, Betty and her husband Ned moved to Colorado to be closer to their children.

Betty loved talking and sharing snippets of life with friends and strangers alike. Each of her jobs from scooping ice cream at a young age, to working in the bank, waitressing and finally as a receptionist for a physician gave her the opportunity to greet everyone with a welcoming smile and caring words.

At her homes in Pennsylvania and Colorado, Betty enjoyed watching and feeding the many beautiful birds in her yard. Both of her homes were adorned with flowers and plants that thrived under her green thumb.

Friendships were paramount in Betty's life. After leaving Pennsylvania, she made a point to stay in touch through cards, letters and phone calls to her many lifelong friends.

Betty was a charter member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Johnstown. Her faith and Mt. Calvary were cherished facets of her life.

Her wishes were granted as she was able to pass away in her home with her loving daughter, Beth, by her side March 24, 2026.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Ned; son, Larrie; brother, Don; and sister, Jean. She is survived by daughter, Beth (Bob); son, Kevin (Linda); sister, Carol; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

A private family service will be held in Littleton, Colo.
