94, Portage, formerly of Altoona, passed away Monday at Conemaugh Medical Center, Johnstown. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Bernard and Elizabeth (McElhinney) McGlynn. She married Harry H. Numer on Nov. 2, 1960 in Altoona and he preceded her in death in 1973. Surviving is a son, Michael (Tracy) Numer; and a grandson, Brandon, all of Portage. Betty was a graduate of Altoona High School and retired from Altoona Area School District in 1988. She was a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Betty enjoyed taking walks, spending time with her family and taking care of her home where she resided for 62 years.
