Johnstown, PA - HAYNES - Beverly J., 81, Johnstown, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2026, at home with family by her side. Born March 17, 1945, Johnstown, daughter of the late Thomas C. and Mildred E. (Horner) Edwards. Preceded in death by her son, Charles R. McHenry Sr.; sister, Patricia Brennan; brothers, Donald, Ronald, and Thomas Edwards; and a nephew, Jason Houston. Beverly is survived by her loving husband, Oscar W. "Wally" Haynes, whom she shared over 50 loving years with; grandchildren, Christopher McHenry and Charles McHenry Jr.; siblings, Faye (Jack) Houston and Robert Edwards; and her nieces, Ashley, Jackie, Heather, and Christy. Beverly was a proud veteran, serving in the United States Navy. After serving in the Navy, Beverly dedicated her life to caring and teaching children as a daycare owner. Outside of work, Beverly enjoyed playing pool and watching sports. Most importantly, Beverly cherished spending time with her family and friends. At Beverly's request, there will be no viewing. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
