LONG- Chad, 36, Formerly of Johnstown. Passed away December 12, 2019 at his residence. Born August 11, 1983 in Johnstown. Son of Ronald and Stella (Long) Andrews. Preceded in death by his parents and paternal grandmother Delphine Andrews. Survived by wife Michelle (Deavor); son Marcus Delron Long at home; siblings Ronald, Crystal Andrews and Jason all of Johnstown; nieces, nephews and special nephew Amari Andrews. Chad is a Johnstown High School graduate, class of 2001. He loved going to Pitt football games with his son, brother, and special nephew. Air Force Veteran. A Memorial Service will be Thursday 1:00 at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. Interment at Arlington National Cemetery. Chad; was always a Super Guy. He was always. A proud Young~Man. He played Little League BASEBALL FOR JOHNSTOWN BOYS @ Roxbury Park. Played for Pizza~Deli, Franchise, His Loving Father RON & Stella Coached the team. Good Ppl. We were just speechless when heard the news!!! God only knows. But, please Recite the Serenity Prayer over the Families, Praying 🙏 in the Days Ahead for the entire Families who have to just hold to GODS UNCHANGING ~Hand. Lord grant this young Sole a place somewhere in your Kingdom! He was so kind, so Respectful, Who always called me MR. Benny ! I was League Pres. & Mr.Clyde Williams, Commissioner of Baseball. We did the league for kids to have a future & Chadmad...e it. Staff-Sgt!!! Awesome Young Man & He left a Legacy along the way !! RIH. The Lords Prayer over all of us. We, all Loss a Great person.
