Charles E. Huffman
90, formerly of Johnstown, died on February 17, 2020 at his daughters residence in Columbia MD. Born September 4, 1929 in Johnstown, son of Percy and Helen (Mauthe) Huffman. Preceded in death by his parents, wife Corita (Canny), and sister Helen (Huffman) Webb. Survived by son Thomas E., married to Lorraine (Nolan), South Carolina, daughter Lynn Huffman, Texas and Jacqueline, married to Gary Horvath, Maryland and sister Stella (Huffman) Miller. Butch retired from Penelec as Chief Lineman. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Panthers and Steelers. He was a life member of St. John Gualbert Cathedral, member of the Catholic War Veterans, and coached St. John's football. Friends received from 4-7 P.M. on Friday, February 21, 2020 at FRANK DUCA FUNERAL HOME, WESTMONT CHAPEL, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Johnstown PA 15905. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at St. John Gualbert Cathedral. Very Rev. James Crookston. Interment, Grandview Cemetery. Condolences may be sent through

Dear Tom, Lynn and Jackie , You are all in our thoughts and prayers at this time. We are sorry we where unable to pay our respects at the Funeral Home. Since our 2 sons have pasted(Jim and Rick) it has been hard for us to go to a Funeral Home. Would have loved to have seen you all. We are so very sorry for your loss of your beloved Father. Butch was a great person and I am sure he will be missed by all. It was wonderful growing up knowing him and your family. May he RIP and may God give the strength to get through this very hard time.
