FOSTER – Charles E. “Pap” or “Hoss,” 76, Fishertown, formerly of Johnstown, died Aug. 18, 2011, at Windber Medical Center. Born Nov. 18, 1934, in Johnstown, son of the late John R. and Catherine (Foust) Foster. Also preceded in death by stepmother, Vera Graham. Survived by wife, Kathy (LaPorta) and “Angel”; along with children, John, Cresson; Michael, married to the former Vivian Key, California; and Beth Ann, wife of James Bish, Ohio; stepdaughter, Kathy Jennings, and companion, Carl Anderson Jr., Belsano; and grandchildren, Broc Jennings, and companion, Bethany Furlong; Krystal Jennings, and companion, Brian Wolfe; Ian, and other children of Beth Ann Bish. A graduate of Johnstown High School. Retired from the Gautier Department, Johnstown Plant, Bethlehem Steel Corp. He also was a charter and school bus driver for McIlwain Bus Lines, with 45 years of service. He was an avid bowler with Sunday Night Mutts Bowling League, Junior Mechanics and Moose 48, Johnstown. Charles was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather, who enjoyed attending and supporting all of his grandchildren’s sporting events.
