Patton, PA - SHILLING - Cindy A., Patton, formerly Portage, age 70, died July 14, 2026, at Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born May 12, 1956, in Spangler, daughter of George and Viola (Carveni) Noel. Preceded in death by parents; daughter, Kristia Rae; granddaughter, Montana Lynn; brother, Barry; and sisters, Roberta and Martha. Survived by husband, Fred Shilling, Patton; sons, Travis (Charlene) Shilling, Patton, and Justin (Karie) Shilling, Midway, GA; three grandsons; four granddaughters; and one great-grand on the way. Also her four fur babies. Recently retired from Cambria Heights High School cafeteria. Spending time with her husband and family, camping and bargain shopping. Always in the yard with her flowers and gardening. She was a social member of Patton Fire Co No. 1 and Cambria County Box 11. She took pride in helping others. She was a transplant recipient and now she was able to be a core donor and give the gift of life. Her family will always remember as a hero. Family will receive friends Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg. Funeral service Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Paul Demi.
