DIETZ – Curtis J. “Jr.,” 80, Johnstown, died July 24, 2011, at Memorial Medical Center. Born April 10, 1931, in Johnstown, son of Curtis Mahlon and Anna May (Dean) Dietz. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Thelma Hepford, Margaret Janovic and Delores Keifline; and brothers, Kenneth, Gerald W. and Richard H. Survived by children, Janice, married to Lawrence Lupo, Massachusetts; John Barry, Central City; Brenda Lee Dietz, Bonnie Lou Dietz, Annette Nolan and Shelly Lynn Dietz, all of Johnstown; Curtis, Florida; Roberta Moskal and Dawn Dietz, both of Johnstown; and Christopher Dietz, Ohio. Brother of Ronald R., married to the former Judy Gerula, Windber. Also survived by 21 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and former wife, Barbara (Getz) Dietz, Johnstown. Member of St. John Gualbert Cathedral. He was well-known and loved by all, and everyone knew him as “Pap.” Former employee of the Ohio Department of Transportation. Friends will be received from 6 p.m. until time of funeral service at 8 p.m. Friday at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., Father James Crookston. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home, 215 Central Ave., Johnstown, Pa. 15902.
