Darla Jeanne Sibis
Sibis, Darla Jeanne, 60, Cresson, passed away February 7, 2020 at UPMC Altoona. Born January 11, 1960, Altoona, daughter of Frank P. and Joan A. (Tremel) Sibis. Preceded in death by her father; and maternal and paternal grandparents. Survived by her mother; daughters, Christina (Tim) and Katrina (Pat); brothers, Dan (Karen), Frank (Nancy), Bob (Cheryl) and Tom; sister, Becky Maloskey; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved grand-dogs, Eddie, Abby and Molly. Darla enjoyed cooking, cleaning, decorating and her swimming pool. She also loved music, her games shows, playing with her puppies and vacationing with her girls. Spending time with her loving daughters was most important to her. It was common to see all three of them together making the best of memories. They had the most admirable bond. Darla had such a caring heart and was always worried about everyone else. She was definitely one of a kind and well-known for her spunkiness. Darla was an absolute joy to be around and kept everyone laughing. She was a very strong, independent woman who gave the best life to her daughters and she is the light of their whole world. Life will never be the same without her. Friends and family will be received Tuesday, February 11, 2020 from 4-8 p.m., Anderson Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 233 Keystone Ave., Cresson, where a funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at 11 a.m., Fr. Matthew Reese, celebrant. Interment will be held privately at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Lilly. Arrangements have been entrusted to Anderson Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, "Honored Provider of Veterans Funeral Care™." Condolences may be made at AndersonFamilyFuneralHomes.com
