David A. Cyran Obituary

Portage, PA - CYRAN - David A., 64, Portage, passed away Feb. 4, 2026, at UPMC-Altoona. Born Feb. 3, 1962, in Johnstown, the son of Joseph Jr. and Ann (Maskovyak) Cyran. Deceased family members include his parents; sister, Teresa Cyran; and sister-in-law, Karen (Ray) Cyran. Survived by loving wife, Susan (Borlie) Cyran; son, Derek; and brothers, Joseph "Jody" Cyran III, and Robert Cyran. Dave was supported by mother-in-law, Jean; Susan's brothers, John (Tracy), Bart (Val), and Stephen; and sisters, Peggy, Crissy (Dan), and Brenda (Wayne), and their families. A 1980 graduate of Portage Area High School and a 1984 graduate of St. Francis University, with a B.A. in accounting. Employed and a partner as a CPA with Reilly, Creppage & Co. Inc. He enjoyed golfing, and watching the Steelers, Pirates and Penn State. Member of the Portage Moose, Portage Rotary, and the Jamestown PNA. Friends received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Parish, Portage, Father Tom Stabile, TOR, celebrant. Committal will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Portage.
