Lilly, PA - McCarthy - Deborah A., 73, Lilly, passed away Friday, May 1, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family. Born May 12, 1952, Altoona, daughter of the late Stanley and Lymira (McGonigle) Yarnish. Preceded in death by her son, Ernie McCarthy; sisters, Janice Muriceak, DeSales Yingling and Dorothy Mae Conrad; and brothers, James and Joe Yarnish; sister-in-law, Jean Yarnish; brothers-in-law, Lewis Steberger, Samuel Amrhein, John Muriceak, Butch Yingling and John "Francis" Conrad. Survived by her loving husband, Michael McCarthy; son, Rudy (Dina) McCarthy; grandchildren, Jacob McCarthy, Mason McCarthy, and Mia (Coy) Focht; sisters, Erylynne Amrhein and Darnell Steberger; sister-in-law, Beverly Yarnish; and many nieces, nephews and special friends. Debbie found her greatest joy in the company of her pets and in the quiet devotion of caring for animals. Most importantly, she cherished spending time with her family. At Debbie's request there will no viewing. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 9 a.m., Our Lady of the Alleghenies Church, Lilly, Rev. Matthew Reese celebrant. Arrangements have been entrusted to Anderson Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 233 Keystone Ave., Cresson, "Honored Provider of Veterans Funeral Care."
