Ebensburg, PA - Dennis "Denny" M. Smith, Ebensburg, age 62, died unexpectedly on May 15, 2026, after a lifelong battle with depression. Born Sept, 29, 1963, in Johnstown. Denny was the beloved son of Garland and Helen D.(Devlin) Smith. He was a cherished brother, uncle, cousin and friend. Denny will be remembered for his kind, quiet, gentle soul. Preceded in death by parents, and brother-in-law, Greg Stager. Denny is survived by siblings, Claudia (Daniel) Kane, Ebensburg; Marcia Stager, Tyrone; and Greg (Janice) Smith, Northern Cambria. At Denny's request, services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to "Hope For The Day" a nonprofit on proactive suicide prevention and mental health education schools and communities, 4252 N.
