Devin Bryan Williams
He was born on May 11, 1993, in Johnstown Pennsylvania, where he attended school in the Ferndale Area District and resided in Westmont Borough until moving to Las Vegas in 2012. He was preceded in death by maternal grandmother Patricia Dowdell and aunt Constance Berg. He is survived by his wife, Anna Demitras and brother-in-law James Demitras Jr., and their parents, Carolyn Brettell and Rev. James Demitras, his mother Michele and step-father John Speicher, his father Bryan Williams and partner Lisa Nicely, his sister Lauren and her husband Tyler Burgan, and nephews, Skylar and Jace. Also, by his step-brothers Jacob Speicher, Steven Sesack (wife Chelsey, and daughter Carson), step-sisters Andrea Sesack, and Sarah Speicher (husband Justin Mckool and daughter Charlotte), maternal grandparents William and Marion Carthew from Winterhaven Florida, and paternal grandparents Bryan and Nancy Williams of Virginia Beach, Virginia, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Devin was a profound and complex individual. To the world, he was outwardly stoic, calm, and sometimes sarcastic. To those who knew him best, he could be described as imaginative, intelligent, funny, loving, artistic, and sensitive. He displayed a special kind of strength and resilience through every trial in life, which showed true to the very end. He loved spending time with family and enjoyed more than anything, time spent with his greatest love; music, in which he was incredibly gifted. He might not have thought so, but his unique talents, creative personality, and tender soul had touched the lives of many people. He was tremendously loved and will be truly, and deeply missed. Friends and family will be received at The Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren on Friday, June 21 at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Think and Wonder Inc. Nonprofit of Las Vegas, Nevada.
