Johnstown, PA - Cook, Donald E., 79, Richland Twp., passed away July 26, 2025 at Windber Hospice. Born December 20, 1945 in Virginia. Son of Oather and Betty Mae (Paul) Cook. Preceded in death by parents, wife Ella "Jean" (Naskali) Cook, brothers Ronald Cook, Rodger Cook and grandson Ryan J. Cook, Jr. Survived by children, Tina Holt (Gary) Johnstown, Pamela Toth (Art) Pittsburgh, Dawn Yoder (Dustin) Hollidaysburg, Kimberly Lang (the late Kevin) Johnstown, Keith (Kristen) Virgina, Kenneth, Johnstown, Ryan, Windber, and Nicole Vena (Jarrod) Johnstown. Loving grandfather of David Wingard, Dominick and Vincent Toth, Grant, Elizabeth, and Zane Yoder, Cara Lang-Wilson, Owen Cook, and Ethan and Isla Vena. Survived by Brother David Cook, Ohio, Sisters Janet Cook, Windber and Sandy Stahl, Windber. Donald is a navy veteran served in the Vietnam era on the USS Cascade AD-16. He worked for Bethlehem Steel, and was a well-established carpenter, plumber, electrician and furnace repairman. He retired from Mihalko's Construction. He was an extremely hard worker and a master of all trades, there was nothing he could not fix or build. He enjoyed spending time with family, Donald was a proud husband, father, and grandfather. and had the best sense of humor and was always in a good mood joking around, always the life of the party. He enjoyed going out dancing and listening to music with his wife. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service at 12:00 noon, Wednesday at Meek and Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Windber. Pastor Joe Brown, officiating. Interment Richland cemetery.
