Donald G. Kline
79, Loretto, passed away July 24, 2019 at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home. He was born September 17, 1939 in Patton, the son of Gerald and Edna (Yeckley) Kline. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Patricia Gibson, Greta Kline, twin brother Ronald R. Kline and granddaughter Danika Ann Kline. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Ann (Pallone) Kline whom he married July 8, 1972, children, Donald M. Kline, Loretto, Jason G. (Kellie) Kline, Claysburg, Dr. Scott (Andrea) Kline, Wadsworth, OH, grandchildren Tyler and Miles Kline, Micah Schoolcraft and Cody Grove, brothers and sisters Dr. Bernice Kline, Thomas Kline, James (Barbara) Kline, Judy Ann (Jack) Colberg, Bertha (Don) Sell, Tony (Linda) Kline, Tim (Lois) Kline, Veronica Rogal, Claudia (Dave) Charney, Fred (Sue) Kline and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a graduate of John Carroll High School. Don served in the U.S. Air Force and formerly worked at the Chrysler Corporation, Barnes and Tucker and retired from Johnstown America Corporation. He was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown and Carrolltown American Legion Post 506. Don was a hunter, fisherman, raised canaries and schnauzers and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Friends will be received from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday at Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. 146 North Main Street Carrolltown, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. Additional visitation will be held from 9:00 am until the 10:00 am funeral Mass Saturday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown by Rev. Jude W. Brady, OSB. Interment church cemetery. Full military rites will be accorded by local veteran organizations. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home P.O.
