Nicktown, PA - MCKEE - Donald G., 76, Nicktown, passed away Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025, at home after a resilient fight against the complications from Agent Orange exposure during the Vietnam War. Donald was born Dec. 3, 1948, in Spangler, PA, and was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Rilla Shepherd, who raised him; also his parents, Kenneth and Martha (Shepherd) McKee; brother, Ricky McKee; and in-laws, Warren and Agnes Good. Survived by devoted wife of 55 years, Beverly (Good) McKee; precious daughter, Tara Anne, of Monroeville, and sweet grandkitty, Sophie. Also survived by sister, Nancy (Steve); brothers, Randy (Kathy) and Ken (Nancy); in-laws, Lon (Shirley), Denise, Paul (Karen), and David; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; and his D 1/501 Bunker Brothers. Member of Church of the Resurrection, Heilwood. Formerly employed by PennDOT, Barnes & Tucker, and Tanoma Mines. US Army veteran of the Vietnam War, 1970-1971 earning the Bronze Star and several other medals and accommodations. Member of Vietnam Veterans of America and Carrolltown American Legion Post 506. Honoring Donald's wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Moriconi Funeral Home Inc., Northern Cambria, in charge of arrangements.
