Dorothy's family was the center of her world. Affectionately known as "Gram" by her grandsons and great-granddaughters, she took immense pride in supporting their milestones, birthdays, hockey games, and other celebrations. Dorothy's presence was a constant source of love and joy. She was always praying for her grandchildren and looking out for her family, whom she was immensely proud of.
A woman of simple joys, Dorothy loved watching the Hallmark Channel, western cowboy shows, cheering on the Pittsburgh Penguins, and savoring coffee, chocolate, and sweets.
A lifelong member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Dorothy married her dear George there on July 25, 1953. Her faith and dedication to her parish were steadfast throughout her life.
Dorothy worked for many years at Bestform and later at Blaine Borings' Chocolate Shop. She also contributed to the Greater Johnstown School District as a teacher's aide and concluded her career at a local dental practice.
