Windber, PA - MASH - Dorothy M., 102, Windber, passed away March 29, 2026, at Windber Hospice. Born Oct. 21, 1923, in Ralphton, PA. Daughter of Antonio and Frances (Esposito) Pacific. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Joseph V.; brothers, Metro, Frank, John and Joseph Pacific; and sisters, Lucy Fatula and Julie Lakatos. Survived by her children, James; Joseph; Linda, wife of John A. Ostrosky; and Kathleen Mash; grandson, John J. Ostrosky; and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Dorothy will join her favorite group "The Golden Girls," Agnes Gumbeta and Eleanor Jerley. Also survived by longtime friend, Valerie Spencer, and longtime neighbor, Kathy Yourich. Dorothy was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and ISDA. She was employed at Bestform, Gee Bee and Windber Area School District. Her favorite TV shows were "Shark Tank" and "Wheel of Fortune." She was a wonderful homemaker. Special thanks to all the doctors and staff that took care of our mother. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m until 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Meek and Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Windber. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Windber, following the visitation on Tuesday, Father Larry Lacovic, celebrant. Burial will be at St. John Cantius Cemetery, Windber.
