95, of Davidsville, formerly of Tire Hill, passed away peacefully March 24, 2025, at Laurel View Village. Born September 12, 1929, in Johnstown, the daughter of John and Nellie (Misiaszek) Zeralsky. Also preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Frank Suckovitch; brother, Bill Zeralsky; and sister, Joan Toman. Survived by children, Frank August, of Cleveland, Ohio; and Diane, married to Roddy "Dud" Felton, of Davidsville; grandchildren, Maria Felton Lowry and husband Eric, and Zachary, Madison and Samantha August; great-grandson, Jude Lowry; daughter-in-law, Michelle "Shelly" August, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Dorothy was a Nurse's Aide for Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital where she met her husband while he was a patient there. She then worked for Bestform Foundations in Hornerstown for about 12 years before she became a full-time mother. She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Benscreek and a volunteer for St. Andrew School where she was affectionately known as "Grandma Dorothy." She was also a volunteer at Laurel View Village. Dorothy enjoyed crocheting, traveling to Europe and dancing to polkas and she loved and adored her family. Above all else she was a loving and faithful servant of God and always brought great joy to those around her. The family would like to thank everyone who touched her life with love, especially the staff of Laurel View Village, where she was a resident for many years and where she found her second home. Viewing from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 109 Church Road, Davidsville. Funeral Mass 11 a.m. Monday at St. Andrew Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Peter Crowe and Rev. Fr. Angelo Patti, Celebrants. Committal of her urn will be at Grandview Mausoleum at a later date.
