Patton, PA - MAGOULICK - Edward Francis, 77, of Patton, was born in Spangler, the son of the late Francis and Eva (Wilks) Magoulick. He passed away at home surrounded by his wife of 56 years, the former, Donna Huber; his daughter, Christina; son-in-law, Michael Wood; granddaughter, Jordyn and husband, Thaddeus Lallemand; and his little buddy, Junior "Fuzzy." Ed was preceded in death by son, Michael; sister, Linda; brother, Robert; and his parents. He is also survived by sisters-in-law: Patty Bernard (Bill) and Karen Becker (Larry). Ed was a proud Vietnam veteran, serving in the U.S. Army, 1st Calvary. He served with distinction, earning two Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star for courage in battle. His injuries were severe, and he had to be in Walter Reed Hospital for a year and suffered disabilities that lasted the rest of his life. Ed was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. He taught several hunters safety courses over the years. Ed enjoyed teaching the youth about gun safety and responsibilities. Ed was a voracious reader and had a collection of books that rivaled any library. He loved watching Jeopardy and was a fierce trivia player. Ed was a BIG Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved watching the games in Mike's Steelers Cave with the whole family. He was a member of the Patton American Legion, Northern Cambria VFW and the DAV. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until noon Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, at the Stevens Funeral Home, 1004 Fifth Ave., Patton, PA 16668, where a funeral service will immediately follow at noon with military honors.
