Richland, PA - DALY - Eric S., 59, of Richland, affectionately known as "Papa" and "Kirby," passed away peacefully on June 8, 2026, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh after a brief courageous and hard-fought battle with cancer. Born on Oct. 12, 1966, in Johnstown, the son of the late John "Jack" and Charlotte (Croft) Daly. In addition to his parents, Eric was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kimberly (Felix) Daly, on May 22, 2016, and his parents-in-law, Robert and Eva Mae Felix. He is survived by his loving children, Joshua, and wife Rebecca (Schmucker) Daly; Heather, and husband Matthew Lohr; and Matthew Daly, and girlfriend Venecia. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Elizabeth, Claire, Landon, Reagan, and Sophia, who brought immeasurable joy to his life. Eric is also survived by his brother, Timothy Daly; brothers-in-law, Joseph Felix, and wife Natalie (Koontz) Felix, and Robert Felix Jr., and wife Julie; nephews, Bradley and Ryan Felix; his special friend, Michelle Richards; and special family members, George and Fran Heidorn, Michael Eppley and numerous other cherished family members and friends. Eric was a 1984 graduate of Johnstown High School. He was a hardworking man who dedicated many years to his career. He worked at Latrobe Specialty Metals, North American Höganäs, and Sani-Dairy. He was a faithful member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Johnstown. Above all else, Eric treasured time spent with his family. He especially loved being "Papa" to his grandchildren, spending time with his granddogs, enjoying the companionship of his loyal cat, Tony, and spending time with his special friend, Michelle. His kindness, sense of humor, strength, and love for his family will be remembered by all who knew him. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Jody Leonardo, MD, whose exceptional care and dedication provided Eric with precious additional years with his family. Though Eric's earthly journey has ended, the love he shared and the memories he created will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved him. "Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal."
