Johnstown, Pennsylvania - 80, of Johnstown, passed away July 2, 2025, at Arbutus Park Manor. Born September 4, 1944, in Baltimore, Md., daughter of Paul and Dolly (Wible) Jacobs Sr. Preceded in death by parents. Survived by brothers, Paul (Susan) Jacobs Jr., Michael Bruce (Darlene) Jacobs; and sister, Mary Lou (Richard) Rosenbaum; nieces and nephews, Tony Jacobs, Michael Jacobs, Ethan Jacobs, Molly James, Robin Marynieux, Becky Ryant; and also 12 great-nieces and nephews. Frances was a graduate of Johnstown High School. She loved the outdoors and was active with the Girl Scouts for many years, leading, mentoring and teaching. She was employed at Mercy Hospital and provided comfort to anxious patients who were undergoing tests. She was a devout Christian and a dedicated member of Beulah United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School, served on various committees and supported Vacation Bible School. Friends will be received Saturday from 3:30 p.m. until time of service at 5:30 p.m. at Geisel Funeral Home - Johnstown. Pastor Jeremy Barkley officiating.
