KOSNOSKY - Frank J. Sr., 80, Central City, passed away March 25, 2025, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Dec. 30, 1944, in Windber, son of the late Steve and Anna (Basil) Kosnosky. Preceded in death by sister, Rosemary Harmon, and brother, Andrew Kosnosky. Survived by loving wife of 51 years, the love of his life, Beverly J. (Seger) Kosnosky; proud father of son, Frank J. Kosnosky Jr. and daughter, Jeanette L. Kosnosky; nieces and nephews, Aubrey, Brock, Grant, Roger, Julie and Connie; and also by his special buddy, Hayden. Frank enjoyed gardening and was known for his incredible garlic and tomatoes. He also loved making spaghetti sauce and never made it the same way twice. His happy place was sipping coffee and enjoying great conversations with anyone who would talk. Frank was a devoted member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Windber for 47 years. He worked as a coal miner for 17 years for United 1257, and retired from JLG. Family and friends will meet for his funeral talk held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 29 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 35 Joseph St., Windber, PA 15963, with Jon Kammerer, officiating. Cremation arrangements entrusted to Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home of Windber.
