88, of Mentcle, died peacefully at his home on Wednesday, August 24, 2016. Born, in Mentcle, April 11, 1928, he was a son of the late, Samuel Presto and Pearl (Lentz) Presto. Other than his two year enlistment in the U.S. Army following the Korean War, Frank lived and worked his entire life in Mentcle. He was a self-employed truck driver who hauled coal and other materials for over 40 years. Frank's number one priority in life was his family. He loved his family and adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was well known in the area as the former baseball coach for Alverda. A position he held for nearly 15 years in the 1970's and 80's. In addition for his love of family and baseball, Frank enjoyed hunting and being outdoors. He was a beloved member of St. Nicholas Church in Nicktown. He is survived by his wife of nearly 64 years, Patricia Louise (Dumm) Presto, whom he married September 15, 1952. Frank is also survived by his son, John F. Presto and wife, Wendy, Blairsville. His grandchildren are: Candice Presto, Blairsville; Melissa Larese and husband, Nick, Erie; Andrea Carroll, Indiana and Crystal Kinter and husband, Ken, Blairsville. His three great grandchildren are: Logan, Rylee and Kenady. Franks two surviving siblings are: Roxie Pochatila, Ohio and Fred Presto and wife, Evelyn, Alverda. In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his siblings: Anthony, Joseph, Charles and William Presto; Irene Richards, Marion Oliver and half sisters, Hope and Betty. Visitation is Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Clymer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday morning at 10 a.m. at St. Nicholas Church, Nicktown. Father Michael J. Gabler, celebrant. Burial will be at St. Patrick Cemetery at Camerons Bottom.
