Patton, PA - 71, Patton, passed away at UPMC Altoona.
He was born in Spangler, son of the late Walter H. and Anna Marie (Yeager) Molitsky.
He married Rose A. Wilkie who preceded him in death on April 23, 2023.
He is survived by two children: Brandon Molitsky and Jessica Simmons, both of Patton; grandchildren: Alissa, Allen, Lindsay, Derik and William Simmons, Scarlett and Rowan Molitsky, and Joe Molitsky; great-grandchildren: Ryker, Amelia and Malcom; brothers: Raymond and Larry Molitsky; and sister, Patricia Lidwell (Jim Kosicki).
He was preceded in death by a son, Gary J. Molitsky, Jr.; and sisters: Judy Lemons and Helen Jones.
Gary was a graduate of Cambria Heights High School and was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. He retired from The State of PA as a maintenance repairman. Gary enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandkids.
At Gary's request, there will be no viewing. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Interment will at Fairview Cemetery with military honors.
