89, Davidsville, formerly of Richland, went to be with the Lord on January 15, 2024 at Laurel View Village surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 9, 1934 in Scalp Level, daughter of the late Ernest H. and Grace (Solden) Thomas. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Arthur L. "Duck" Mack; son, Scott A. (Kristen) Mack, Oakland, and granddaughters, Kasmira, Solenna, and Sybella. After graduating in 1952 from Conemaugh Township High School, she attended Susquehanna University, earning a teaching degree in Business Education. Gen retired from Richland High School after 15 years of service. She was a member of the Oakland Church, where she taught Kindergarten Sunday School for many years. Gen had a love for music and was an active pianist. Her family would like to thank all the staff at LVV for their loving care of Gen. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. on Friday at the Oakland Church, with the Rev. Dr. Randall W. Bain officiating. Private burial will be at Richland Cemetery. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. The family suggests contributions be directed to the Oakland Church, 1504 Bedford Street, Johnstown, 15902 in memory of Genevieve. Online condolences may be posted to www.wharrisfuneralhome.com.
